The
Australian Made
trade mark is a significant marketing tool for our business. When
AOK’s products carry the green and gold
kangaroo trade mark, our customers can be
certain that it’s Australian.
For a product to carry the green and gold kangaroo trade mark of
the Australian Made Campaign it must be made in
Australia. That means it must be
substantially transformed in Australia,
and at least 50% of the cost of manufacturing the
product must be
incurred locally. The green and gold kangaroo is a certified trade mark
owned by the Commonwealth Government and
protected under the trade marks act. Only
products authorised by the Australian Made Campaign may use the mark.
The mark
provides a point of differentiation for your products and adds
value to your own brand. Most
of all, by using the mark you’re making
it easy for your customers to identify your products
as Australian made,
and exercise their preference for buying Australian. |
The green triangle and gold kangaroo logo is
the most recognised country of origin symbol on Australian shop
shelves, enjoying a 93% recognition level amongst
Australian consumers. Nine out of 10 consumers say they
have purchased goods carrying the trade mark and 70% say they actively seek out
products that are made in
Australia. Our green and gold trade mark gives your customers confidence
that the products carrying the
mark meet the legislated criteria for Australian Made. They also believe it to
be a premium mark of integrity.
Thus the mark offers a competitive advantage as well as customer assurance. |
